You own Your Data

Crossfire Cloud EDI (CCE) is an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system which transfers, validates and converts EDI data as provided or entered by that company or individual. CCE will transfer and convert information that is entered by you, or automatically imported on your instruction. The Data entered, or imported on instruction, by you remains your property and Sandfields Associates Limited (SAL) will not use nor make available for use any of this information without your permission.

 

You control who has access to Your Data

The Data entered, exported or imported on instruction, by You is transferred securely and is only accessible to any person you have authorized to use the Service.
SAL, SAL’s staff and SAL’s partners will only access Your Organization’s account or Data if it becomes necessary in order to resolve EDI errors.

CCE monitors system usage

The Data entered, or imported on instruction, by You is transferred securely and is only accessible to any person You have authorized to use the Service.

SAL staff and key commercial partners can access non-identifying and aggregate usage information and transaction volumes in order to better understand how our customers are using the Service so we can improve the system design.

 

EDI Data Security

Users should only enter, or instruct the importation of, Data within a secure environment. We recommend using secure transports wherever available. Access and storage controls via the Service are administered by SAL in New Zealand as the custodian of that Data (Contact us). Where You access or input Data from somewhere other than the country where the Data is stored or to be stored, You consent to that Data being transferred from one country to the other (including via any intermediate country) as a function of transmission across the Internet.

You are responsible for checking the Privacy Policy of any third-party applications the Service links to

The Service may contain links enabling the electronic transfer of data with third-party applications. SAL takes no responsibility for the privacy practices or content of these applications.

 

Data Retention

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services contact our Support Team. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

 

This policy may be updated from time to time

SAL reserves the right to change this policy at any time and any amended policy is effective upon the posting on this website. SAL will make every effort to communicate these changes to You via email or notification via the website.

 

Personal information we collect

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

How do we use your personal information?

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above.  Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe to New Zealand.
