Key insights:
Support cliff: Following Intuit’s acquisition of OneSaas, support for non-QuickBooks systems has been discontinued, forcing businesses to find new integration pathways.
The manual risk: Returning to manual data processing is only viable for low volumes; high-transaction businesses risk errors and operational bottlenecks without a replacement.
In-house vs. outsourced: Businesses must choose between managing complex integration tools internally (requiring high HR investment) or partnering with a managed service.
Strategic shift: Transitioning to a fully-managed provider like Crossfire allows IT teams to move from operational maintenance to strategic decision-making while ensuring 24/7 technical oversight.
13 April 2021 - With the recent acquisition of OneSaas by Intuit, all non-Quickbooks systems currently connected via OneSaas will no longer be supported. For businesses that find themselves in this situation, it’s important to understand what options are available.
OneSaas currently integrates business systems with one another, as well as connecting those systems with trading partners via EDI/API. There are many other solutions that your business can consider when looking for OneSaas alternatives. Deciding on a replacement solution depends on what system(s) you use, whether you want to manage the integrations yourself, or outsource the integration. Here are your options.
If you don’t replace OneSaas, you’ll have to manually process data in your system(s) that OneSaas is currently transmitting data between. This option only works if you have small volumes of data passing between your existing OneSaas connection.
If you have high volumes of data transactions, or large amounts of data within each transaction being sent/received, not replacing OneSaas could leave you vulnerable.
Many large businesses that have an IT Team that manage IT at an operational level may consider using an integration tool to manage integrations in-house. The benefit of this is that things can be managed internally by someone that works alongside other stakeholders in the business, and you’ve got more control in setting up and managing integrations.
The downside of this is that there may be a significant HR investment to train or acquire talent and if you don’t have a dedicated employee to help setup and support integrations, things can fall apart pretty quickly.
Using a fully-managed integration provider allows you to outsource the complexity of integration, and means your IT team can focus on strategic decision-making. Outsourcing integration to a partner that has proven experience with businesses like yours can mean faster onboarding of new integrations, quick and proactive support, and frees up time for your IT team to focus on improving your business, rather than managing it operationally.
The risk here is that the external provider may not provide great support, may not understand what you’re trying to achieve, and therefore may not deliver services and outcomes to your expectations.

The best alternative to OneSaas is a fully-managed integration provider that can handle both API and EDI connectivity. While DIY integration tools offer control, they require significant in-house expertise and ongoing maintenance. In contrast, a managed service like Crossfire provides a complete end-to-end solution—including planning, testing, and 24/7 proactive monitoring. This approach is specifically designed for businesses using systems like Cin7, Unleashed, or various WMS platforms, ensuring a seamless transition from OneSaas without the risk of manual data entry or system downtime.
Crossfire has a pre-built network of integration system connectors, many of which are the same ones currently supported by OneSaas. This allows for a quick and easy transition. Unlike Web EDI or other "self-serve" tools, Crossfire provides a fully-managed service experience - including planning, testing, and 24/7 support - ensuring your trading partner connections remain stable without needing in-house EDI expertise.
